Maradona’s mother – Dona Tota has died at the age of 81

Legendary footballer Diego Armando Maradona’s mother, Dona Tota has died because of health problems that she suffered. She was headed to Buenos Aires hospital this Friday and after long cardiologic problems, she died on Sunday morning.
Dalma Salvadora Franco (called Dona Tota) died in her motherland, in Buenos Aires hospital. She used to have heart problems from 2003. She spent 2 months of summer in “Suzo” clinic.
In the argentine championship, the match between “Independiente” and “Olimpo” started with a minute of silence for Maradona’s mother’s respect.

In the next few days there will be exactly a quartet of a century since the goal of the century was scored. The author of the best goal in the history of football is Diego Maradona.
The goal was made by the legendary player of the world on the world championship between England and Argentina.
Maradona is the best player known not only for the goal, but also with scandalous actions and achievements, his great admirer Emir Kusturica has dedicated him a film.
Kusturica produced a movie called “Maradona”, it will be released on 22 June.

“We can’t make a step back in our relation” – says the Argentina’s national football team’s technical secretary Carlos Bilardo. He called Maradona “chicken” and added that, they can’t make step back in relation with the ex. Coach. “So he can make accusations as much as he wants” – says Bilardo.

Owners of the Blackburn Rovers are speaking about the possibility of Diego Maradona succeeding Sam Allardyce.Chairwoman of Rovers owners Venky’s Anuradha Desai has declared that the club are taking the former Argentina coach into serious consideration, but it has been confirmed that Steve Kean shall remain in charge of the first team duties until the end of campaign.
Desai says: “We think about Maradona as a coach after we took over, but now, current coach will be the manager till the seaseon is over. There is no doubt of signing anyone for such a short time”

Diego Armando Maradona was born in Lanús but was raised in Villa Fiorito a shanty town on the southern outskirts of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. He has three older sisters and two younger brothers Hugo and Eduardo both of whom were also professional football players.
Maradona was spotted by Los Cebolitas, the junior team of Buenos Aires’ Argentinos Juniors as a youngster aged 10 while playing for his neighbourhood club Estrella Roja .
